Lunch Stop

When we got up there was a little bit of (unforecast) rain but it quickly passed and we were able to press on with the day.

Today we cycled 20 miles (32km) along the River Tweed.  This was CyclopsJnr's longest bike ride yet.  We had a lovely lunch stop by the river, and our sandwiches tasted at least twice as good as usual as we felt we'd earned them!

On the way back to the camp site stopped in Melrose for cake as a reward to ourselves.  We also had a wee look around the Abbey, trying to spot the sculpture of the pig playing the bagpipes.

Once back at the camp we played dominoes, and Uno while cooking (and digesting) dinner, before one very tired boy headed to bed.  The other tired boy won't be that far behind him...
