Rural idyll

Had a long breakfast with a large variety of local breads, home made jams and cheese and dried meats.
A long walk through the local moorland, we saw a lot of varied landscapes, beaver dams , red kites, flesh eating plants and dark spooky water!
At the end of the day we visited my friends dairy farm, where we watched the cows being milked by a fully automated robot, a million miles away from the traditional “milk maid”. The cows looked amazingly healthy, hardly surprising as they had some automated massage rollers to scratch their backs. The chickens lived a life of freedom, their home was the road, garden, meadows and a large stable to roost.
In the evening more food, Home made wine and laughter with my group of school friends!
