To the Macmillan Cancer Centre at UCH today to visit my darling friend Rory who's had a really rough time of it lately but is getting closer to his transplant next week when - fingers crossed - he gets his life back. The Cancer Centre is a wonderfully light, bright and colourful place. No doubt by design to bring hope and good distractions to the patients who spend time here. In the entrance hall is this amazing mobile. It's made from what look like brightly coloured kitchen implements and it makes me smile. So this blip is for Rory, for hope and for that day in the future when he's well again.
