Bundle of joy

At long last I held my grandson today. He is absolutely wonderful. They had a great night with him waking once to be fed. Daughter still in a lot of pain and technically not discharged from hospital but on home visit. She has to go back on Tuesday for another scan and consultant appointment.
Not done anything else today apart from walk the dogs, got the ironing board out but didn’t manage to do the ironing. G& T in the garden when we got back from seeing the little fella.
They live in a small close with only eight houses and another resident gave birth last week, so the two little boys will grow up to be buddies we hope.
I have to say being a grandmother is fabulous.
