Street Art

Good to see an art project beautifying some rather ugly parts of Southsea. Belmont Path used to be an alley way that you would rather not walk down - unkempt,  litter strewn and generally rather unpleasant - now with a lick of paint and some imagination it is bright, cheery pathway. Artists worked with the children at the local primary school who interviewed, and took photos of ex pupils, local street traders and have produced a series of attractive posters. And imagine our surprise to find Patrick's daughter adorning one of them - she is a hospital consultant and an ex pupil of the school. A great role model and here she is with one of her young sons on the search for 'mummy'.
