Crimple viaduct

Out for a lovely walk this afternoon around the Crimple valley. We are lucky to be able to have such lovely walks on our doorstep without needing to use transport.
I have blipped this impressive structure before, but never from this spot.
It was completed in 1848 and carries the railway line from Leeds to Harrogate over Crimple Beck. It reaches a height of 131 feet and has 31 arches. Things were built to last back then
I have included an interesting panorama in the extra of the entire structure taken from the same location.
