Derelict Sunday

I think this door is more shabby chic than truly derelict.

It belongs to Farnham's Bourne Mill. The Bourne Mill is an interesting building, dating back to the 17th century. It was originally a water-driven corn mill and the mill race and pond are still there as well as most of the original mill itself.

For many years The Mill housed an antiques emporium arranged over a number of uneven floors. It was a fun place to have a good poke around. Then in 2015 it suffered an extensive fire and for a number of years it was closed. However in November 2019 it finally reopened its doors, just in time for the pandemic.

I have yet to visit the refurbished building having lost the taste for shopping over the last two years. But I do like it and I am pleased that it has been restored.
