Iquitos

Last day in the jungle, went on a canoe trip thankfully going down river, still knackered and required a dip in the pool before heading back to Iquitos.
A visit to the market which was sad to see in parts as so much poverty and stray dogs. Then visited the museum on the Fitzcarraldo steamboat which was carried through the amazon in 1894. Sad to read the stories of the exploration of the locals by the rubber plant owners.
A nice meal in the ironhouse, which apparently was the first pre fabricated house in the Americas. A big thunder and lightning storm with a huge downpour thankfully we were under cover.
