on who knows what

kind of pink bushes

they plant these - flowering bushes in the - courtyard to help - make it look pretty - which, at this time - of year, it always does - there are both - pink and white bushes - which last for a - short season then the - flowers die and fall off - and beautiful leaves - are left behind - for the remainder - of the summer and fall - months for us to enjoy

the problem with these - bushes/small trees - is that i never - have known their names - what they’re called - so those fabulous - pink and white flowers - every spring season go - nameless by me due - to my ignorance - yes i’ve asked people - the front desk folks - who just stare at me - then shake their heads - like ‘why is she asking such a thing?’ - curiosity, wonder, knowledge - why wouldn’t i want to know - i ask strangers - passing by as well - they too stare at me - i guess gaining - knowledge is a bygone - escapade at least for - me with these bushes - but i am still - rejoicing they’re pink - and that makes this…
