On thin ice

Went to take some of my stuff to Lupinlahti cottage, I'm going to spent next weekend there again.
Decided try walk straighter route on bays ice cover, instead taking longer and safer road around the boardwalks. Its been raining couple of days and temperature is been above zero, so ice is melting fast.
It sure was wet and slushy, but hold on us!

Wanted to show you how My Darling tried how deep water there is under ice. The stick is about 170 cm high.

There were couple Cranes in opposite shore in distance.
