Sunday in more ways than one

A sun...day which was Mothers Day too. 
Bacon sausages (baked, not fried, for a change) with eggs, before an early start off to downtown for a 1 o'clock kick off, Caps vs Toronto.. 
We did pass through one torrential downpour on the way, and it was like coming out of a tunnel as the downpour stopped and the sun streamed.again.
Caps won 1-0 with a last minute goal after what was in fact, a yawn inducing, totally boring match, with neither side showing any real signs of wanting to win.
Mary Brown's chicken on the way home had all of us contemplating nap time we were so full.

Ah well...
