Watch the birdie (s)

On the way home this evening I stopped to take a picture of some trees against a darkening sky, when I saw this freshly drilled field with loads of pigeons gorging themselves, and I thought that it would make quite an amusing blip. I have counted about 40 birds in this one shot, and I think there were more that I couldn't fit into the the frame.

Will there be any crop left to grow after this lot have been through it? I guess we'll find out in a few months time
