What's in a name?

Muscovy duck or Cairo duck or Guinea duck or Barbary duck or Indian duck.     
Saw this little group today whilst out for a walk and was surprised to see the chicks at this time of year but it seems their breeding season is just twelve months!
The area where these ducks reside we, Kasper and me, can get very close to them and they do not seems too bothered by him or me!
Even though we are into duck shooting season I think this lot are quite safe.
