Watching The Bass

Taken through the arms of The Watcher, a bronze sculpture outside the Scottish Seabird Centre, while waiting for friends to arrive.

We enjoyed coffee and scones in the café, I took possession of a sewing machine she was bringing North for me, then we took a wander up the High Street before they returned to their campervan and back to the site for a rest.
We drove on to Fenton Barns for lunch and a lovely chat at Pop Up Designs, creators of 3-D cards and models, which we discovered last year and returned for more purchases. Hard to describe, do look at the link and remember that donations from sales go to charities they support.

This evening we inspected the machine, bought on ebay, and found a mass of fluff below the needle plate - clearly the previous owner had never cleaned the machine, nor had the seller checked it, but, no matter it is now pristine and seems to work well.
