Another woodland scene

I was sat on a log this morning having a rest whilst walking the dogs thinking how the woods are so pretty at the moment. I could hear a cuckoo in the distance and it was so peaceful. I just had to take another woodland pic.

This path runs through the middle of the wood. Before Covid it was a very narrow path hard to see in fact and only used by us and a couple of other dog walkers. But then came lockdown people at home got dogs and suddenly all these people decended on the woods. We stayed away but when we started going again after 12 months or so the paths were suddenly very wide with use. Now everyone is back to work, more or less, no one uses it anymore except us and a couple of dog walkers again.
I feel sorry for the dogs those people acquired during lockdown, some shut in all day others got rid of, the Dogs Trust an other rescue centre's say
they are over full with unwanted dogs that w
ere aquired during the pandemic. So sad.

Haven't done much today a quick vac. round a bit of washing done and dried and that was about it except for the usual daily jobs.
