My son has become a collector of CACTI
& gave me this variety that should bloom soon. It is thriving on neglect with morning sun.

Our water situation in Southern California
has become dire. Beginning June 1st
we will be allowed to water outside plants only once per week. We must reduce our water use 35% or outside watering may be
completely banned, in September.

So, CACTUS may be the wisest choice.
