Always Check the Route

I suffered today from not pre-walking the route I had chosen to lead.  Our walk was severely hampered by Storm Arwen tree fall from November . If I'd checked , we would not have gone that way. I didn't check it because I had house guests who needed buggy friendly routes and this one was definitely not not buggy friendly.  On the plus side, if I had checked the route,  we'd not have got up to the view point ( extra) which was really good, it was from then on that we met devastation. 
The locals had made new paths through the woods and had been out with chain saws in places but progress was very slow.  The Blip shows two root stocks that we'd just clambered round.
