Changing London

In London today for a one-off meeting. Police everywhere, and traffic at a standstill - then remembered it was the State Opening of Parliament (Prince Charles stood in for the Queen).

Walked from Green Park, past Hyde Park Corner. Photographed the street scene on the way. All these cycle deliveries are
a newish phenomenon (or perhaps I should say a revival of how things once were). .

After the meeting strolled through Belgravia and Knightsbridge, then bus to High Street Kensington - had to visit the large Wholefoods, and Uniqlo opposite.

Disappointed Wholefoods have closed the 2nd floor eateries. Found a smart pair of black trousers for myself, been looking for months, and a couple of tops for Mr B.

Decided not hang about after an early start, so took the fast 4:05 train back to Bournemouth.
