Hartland Quay

Another visit to Hartland Quay today with my friend Janet, who wanted to see the thrift. Tide was in when we arrived, and the wind was quite strong and the spray was was being carried in. A few people about watching the sea and the gulls. This beautiful brindle dog (don't know the breed) was stood at the end of a rocky outcrop, his owners seated and watching the world go by.

After lunch in the hotel, we drove up to the top car park. There was more cloud around and looking misty to the south. We headed back to Bideford, stopping for a Hockings (Ice cream) after which I dropped Janet back at her home, and came back to mine. A most enjoyable day.
