Roast Cauliflower

Made a vegan dinner today for the other Grandparents, the girls and myself and my DIL! I think it was successful! A large Gratin, made with carrots, potatoes, sweet potatoes, broccoli, all cut into chunks and precooked.  Mine a bit overcooked and to this a white sauce made with oat milk and cornflour with nutmeg, turmeric, and lovage chopped small. (This gives a light celery type taste). Some chopped walnuts on top.  In the oven for about half an hour.  The roast cauliflower was brushed with some oil with some paprika in it, cooked 15 mins and then turned and cooked for a further 15 mins after brushing again.  I cooked both in fan oven 165.   The photo is at the half cooked stage! Goes beautifully crispy!  

Afters was fruit and yogurts.  One vegan and one non vegan!  It didn’t go down very well with the girls, especially the gratin! 

Next week we decided to go with wraps!
