(130) Hie Gait

I paid a quick visit to Dysart this morning while the sun was shining.  Dysart is a former town and Royal Burgh that became part of Kirkcaldy in the 1930s. During the 1950s and 60s many old buildings were demolished to make way for urban development but thankfully some parts of the historic town were retained, mainly the houses around Pan Ha', Saut Girnal, and Hie Gait, which have the distinctive 'crow-stepped' gables as seen in this picture.
