Appearances can be deceptive - every table in The Roseburn was taken! JacktheLad and me had nipped in for a small aperitif on the way back from tenpin practice. I think he needed to steady his nerves having seen my new technique in action! I was happy that he was back in the swing of things so we had a second aperitif to celebrate before catching the bus.
