Mystery

A few evenings ago, I thought I'd caught sight of a small damselfly. It was very brief and was gone before I could look closely. My pond produces dragons, but not this early and it was much too small and pale for a dragon. On close inspection of my pond, there were several of these clinging to the tall plants. I'm  hoping it's the larvae of a damsel and that a knowledgeable Blipper can ID it. The Larvae and exuviae page in my Field Guide didn't help me. Anyone?
