‘One of Edinburgh’s Finest’,

Long known to the Edinburgh residents as one of the city's most desirable desirable streets, Ann Street, with its impressive townhouses tucked away in a very quiet location on the edge of Stockbridge, it has become one of the most expensive streets in the whole of Britain.

Designed in 1817 by the painter Sir Henry Raeburn, along with architect James Milne, the street is named after Raeburn’s wife, Ann Edgar.

Originally sold for between 200 and 1200 guineas they were some of the first in Edinburgh’s New Town to have these very attractive front gardens.
