Rain

It has been raining incessantly, flooding the roads and paths and carrying away the autumn leaves. There are floods again in Queensland. Rain must be terrifying for those people who are struggling to put their lives back together after the last floods.
We went to cast our (early) votes and felt sorry for the few volunteers bravely handing out how to vote cards in the rain. When we have done that in the past it has been fun, with a feeling of camaraderie despite political differences. It wouldn't have been much fun today.
