Today’s view

Today’s view from my old lady chair. Note the elevated foot wearing the moon boot. Mine is NHS black while Colleen Rooney was wearing a very fashionable grey one as she strode into the High Court yesterday. She didn’t look as though she was walking with knife blades digging into her ankles.

LeeAnne visited this morning bearing scones and tulips and the world suddenly seemed more normal. You can get a bit too introspective on your own.

My lovely nurse came after lunch to change the dressings. Frankly I ‘ve seen legs of lamb trussed up for roasting in a butcher’s shop back in the day looking like what’s under my bandage now.

Now back to the enforced sitting……..
