Bluebells

Playing Blip catch-up once again!

Driving along the Allandale road recently I was awestruck (if that's not too grand a word) by the astonishing display of bluebells at Seabegs Wood. So a quick trip over there was called for on Monday morning.

I walked along one side of the Antonine Wall ridge, crossed over at the end of the Historic Scotland site and then came back along the other, northern-facing, ridge on which most of the bluebells were situated. Needless to say, I went down the bank and off the main path to wander among the bluebells and take numerous photos. It may be an annual occurrence, but it is still an impressive sight nonetheless.
