As we were passing Lock 1 on the Leigh Branch of the Leeds/Liverpool Canal today, MrsB and I got chatting to this ‘Peaky Blinders’ chap, who was in fact from Cleckheaton, and heading for Gloucester!
I asked if I could take his portrait, and he was most insistent that I get his cap on the image!!
