Garden Jay

A nice day in the garden started with a ton of hoeing and weeding. Then I planted out around 40 of my plant babies. I'm not convinced that they will all grow as some have just been slotted into some gaps and the sun will have a bit of trouble reaching them. But hey, they were all grown from seed, so not a lot lost. 
In between plantings we went and picked up our new car which took all of 10 minutes as we had done all the things that they asked of us - paid, taxed and insured it already. Back to having two cars will enable us to enjoy our respective interests a little more without the other person being tied to the house. 
Today's blip is another of our local Jay. At least one has been visiting regularly for peanuts, even when the pigeons have finished them all off, so I assume that they must have a nest somewhere nearby.
