Feet Up Time

A shorter flatter route today from Braunton to Instow. The trail followed a disused railway line that had been tarmacced to allow shared usage by cyclists and pedestrians. The route was dead straight for most of its length, as befits an ex-railway line and, apart from routing past the ex RAF Chivenor (now a Marines Depot) and  a diversion round a nature reserve towards the end it was boring. The sun shone though which made up for it. This shows our feet  up on the beach wall in Instow, watching the activity on the sand, mainly dog walkers at this early part of the season.
