Sir Hairy

This distinguished gentleman is a Hairy Woodpecker and he was pruning himself on a branch of Auntie's Tree.  The tree is just starting to bud out and the warm weather we are having will soon make it pop.  I hope I get to see a few of the blossoms before I leave.

It may be Friday the 13th but it is a lucky day for me.  Thanks to the wonders of modern medicine, I slept like a baby last night and my breathing is much better this morning.  A quiet day of porch sitting is in store as most of my packing is done.  I am feeling very lucky this morning.
