PEEKING AND PERCHING

I have to say my own bed is more comfortable than the one in the holiday cabin which seems to have got lower and harder in the three years since we were there last, though I think that's me, not the bed! Back home, after unpacking and shopping I went for a quick and very windswept visit down near the dunes and spotted this pheasant in the middle of a field. He couldn't really hide even if he wanted to. I also stalked a family of wheatears moving up and down a nearby fence (extras). Hoping for less wind and more sun tomorrow.
