Bert reads Kees

An evening in the theatre together with my sister Joke.
A show by Bert Visscher, but not a usual one.

This time Bert reads stories in Groningen dialect written by his father Kees Visscher in the 1980s. His father died 15 years ago and Bert is now touring theatres in the Groningen province as a tribute to his father.

We laughed the whole evening! The theatre De Molenberg was packed with people and we had such a great night. Bert too I guess, he was in a very good mood and went on until almost 23.00 hours. Fantastic!
My sister and I realized during the evening that today it's exactly 6 months that our dad is gone. 6 months already. It made the evening even more special, being at a father's tribute evening.

Here's a link to youtube, with a recording of Kees Visscher telling a short story. It's in Groningen-dialect. This story was told by Bert as well. We laughed on and on.
