Azure damselfly

They started slowly last weekend, but today they emerged en masse. It was warm and sunny and, at one point, there were more than a dozen holding on to the pond plants. In a two hour period at least 50 damsels emerged. This one stopped for a rest on the drooping sedge. Such a treat.
