Yellow lines!

Came back to my car to discover the council had painted yellow lines up to (and slightly under it) front and rear.
They're obviously not content with giving me a ticket for unloading my sofa on yellow lines, now they have to bring the lines to me!

I've moved it now but theres still a mini metro sized hole in the yellow lines, not sure if I should park there?
