Norway Day 3, Ptarmigan Still in Winter Plumage

Only 4 of us set out this morning after yesterday’s exhausting skin up and ski down. The weather forecast had announced rain. We were extremely lucky to stay dry till lunch time and see this ptarmigan and a small herd of reindeer (extra) on the summit of today’s peak (extra) where the snow had completely melted, giving them food to eat. The ski down after lunch was wet, very wet! Now hoping for some internet as we cross into another area! 

The food on the boat is yummy and it is so relaxing to read, sort out photos, play cards and chat with good friends. Worth waiting two years for….

Yesterday’s blip posted just before this one if you have time to go back. Thanks so much for your generosity and commenting even though I can’t. It took 30 minutes standing in the cabin doorway to get connected.
