Bluebells and Roseberry Topping

The bluebells in Newton Wood were out in force and looking spectacular. Just a shame it was such a grey day. Apparently almost half of the world's bluebells are found in the UK and a good proportion must be in Newton Wood! We had a lovely walk through the wood, to the summit of Roseberry Topping (crowded as usual), across to Captain Cook's Monument and back down to Great Ayton. The sun came out as we drove home making me almost want to turn around and go back.

Thank you all for the lovely words, stars and hearts for yesterday's 500th blip. All very much appreciated.
