Clifford's Tower

A rare foray into HDR land for today's blip.  My mum and I visited the newly refurbished Clifford's Tower.  The new roof and walkways allow access to places such as the chapel and the King's toilet for the first time since the tower was damaged by a fire in the 17th century.  I liked the view across the rooftops towards the minster as well (in extras).

We walked along the walls to Micklegate, and then home across Hob Moor before I headed back over the Pennines after lunch.  I arrived about 15 mins before J's brother brought him home from his weekend in the Peaks.
