Day out

Up early again this time off to the beach. We arranged it over a week ago hoping the weather would be good. But no   We left home just after 9am the sun was shining by the time we had got towards Hook the rain had started. Then it rained all the way down to West Wittering. We got there just after 11am daughter and family arrived about 20 minutes later. We all sat in the van and had coffee. At about 1pm the rain had stopped so the girls went out to fly the kite with grandad while we got lunch ready. After lunch we went for a walk along the beach. The girls had soo much fun. Paddling in the sea and collecting shells. By about 4pm the sun came out. From here we went to Hayling Island and had Fish and Chips on the beach in the sun. All in all a enjoyable day despite the rain.
