Nature's colours

There are lots of orange tip butterflies fluttering along the verges at the moment. It is always lovely to see them, they are such stunning butterflies.
Very few swallows and swifts  have arrived which is depressing but a few swifts have made their perilous journey and screech overhead in the garden. It is such a welcome sound and sight. To photograph a swift  is, I have decided, a specialist task!. They are so incredibly swift in flight!
I have added a swift as an extra, and as they screeched overhead this teatime the late afternoon sun was catching their wings.
