“You want to go home ..?”

There was only one answer : yes please! The doctor authorised my release but, as I was expecting, there would be sometime for the discharge papers to be drawn up and then patient transport to be arranged. As I still have Covid this was the only Covid safe way to get out of a Red Ward, in which all visitors are banned, and home to the peace and quiet. It was so good to be home. The self isolation continues.
