The End (ish)

Finally the season of 11-a-side football has come to an end. It ended in style for the boys. They got to play on the Ardley first team's pitch playing a cup semi final. The club came out in force to support them, and the boys came out and played really well in the first half and had a 2 goal lead. Unfortunately it slipped away from them and they lost the game with this penalty being one of the goals that brought their heads down.

When we look back though and realise that the team they were playing against in the semi final of the cup was their opponents in their first league game here in September. In that occasion they lost 17-0. This time it was 5-2. A much reduced goal difference.

Just a 5 a side tournament next Saturday and then the end of season presentation on Sunday.

We are all so proud of them, they've done amazingly well to make the progress they have. Well done boys.
