The front gardens at one of the places where I was working today. Originally she had this garden designed and planted by another designer before she met me. At the same time she had them install a seating area in the back garden. By the time I started working here I had to correct their mistakes. She told them, nothing too tall under the power line going to the house, so they planted a tree that would be 12 - 15 feet high in 10 years. She told them not to plant things too close together, she likes to give plants room to grow. But they still planted things too close to each other.
After a few years of moving plants around it is finally under control so it is mostly maintenance when we go there now.
We used to go plant shopping together, but her health issues keep her home now. She claimed I was a bad influence, lol. I could walk by a plant, comment that it was pretty and she would want to know where she could put it in her garden.
A long day today, trying to do 2 days of work in 1 day. Rain in the forecast for tomorrow and of course this is the week where Monday and Tuesday are committed to some of the bi-weekly maintenance jobs.
