Barn Swallow

This Barn Swallow (Hirundo rustica) is a resident of the Crosswinds Marsh pavilion. There are dozens of nests in the rafters of the building and surrounding boardwalks. It is very relaxing to sit and watch these birds flying over the water while catching insects to feed their young.
