Lingmell

Lingmell was our target for today. The National Trust car park is very convenient with loos and a shop!
We found that there were quite a few false summits but got there eventually. The photo is the shot from the top looking northwards towards Styehead Tarn.
A long slog down along the path which takes the hordes up to Scafell pike seemed never ending. It was quite hot the nearer we got to the bottom.
All these remaining fells we have to do are quite a long way from Keswick. I can’t stay awake on the way home, luckily LooseCanon seems to be able to!
Ten Wainwrights to go.
