The Lady in Red

Went to Reguengos to try to get an electric screwdriver for Mike to put the shadecloth up with, but nothing doing, so off to Évora, where he eventually found what he wanted. Plus were able to find out about car insurance. This is Praça do Giraldo, Évora's main square - can you see the pigeons sheltering from the sun under the roof of the tallest building?

Hot, 32C today, going up to 37C (98.6F) at the weekend; thankfully neither of us will be in the Alentejo then...

Gratefuls:
- Jaime and Mike finishing the automatic irrigation for the top trees
- making headway on sorting the overgrown and sickly rose bushes, but heck! the thorns are lethal
- Mike's bread, toasted, spread with avocado and sprinkled with crunchy onions, an accidental discovery at Lidl from when the family were here

humorous version of Chris de Burgh's song.
