BUTTERFLY WEEK & FRIENDS

This is a small, tucked away flower bed on the side of my house. It has come to life with the tall SUNFLOWERS, BUTTERFLY WEED, MILKWEED, blue SALVIA & DIANTHUS. The Milkweed is too tiny to see, yet.

I called the city water department today & spoke to a very kind lady who clarified the new outdoor watering rules. Since I have all drip irrigation, I can use my own discretion about how much I need to keep plants alive. And my fountain with gold fish,
can have additional water, as needed.
She gave me a suggestion about how to water trees efficiently.

I am relieved. For now, all my outdoor plants are safe.
