The First Bearded Iris

On Sunday I posted an image of this iris all tightly furled up...and now it's in full, glorious bloom!

A busy day today, what with botanical garden meetings, lunch and visit with Mom and then back to my desk when I got home. Although it was rainy this morning, it did get sunny this afternoon. Maybe a bit of rain tonight and early tomorrow and then it looks like we're headed into some really pleasant weather!
