Banff again

This time we started at the top of the town, visiting a friend who has had to move into the Care home. Not easy places to be, but the least bad choice for her. 
Then we parked at the Banff Springs hotel to go down to walk by the shore (tide full in, so no little running birds) and the harbour. Major works in progress - the boats in the extra could be got out by crane, but the water exit has been blocked while the harbour wall is being rebuilt. 

Back up to the hotel via the picture framers (who are open again). This time we found scones, taken with tea on the terrace, with long views out to sea and to the East. Visibility out to the hills beyond Brora and Helmsdale.
