Lunch

We went to a funeral today at the nearby crematorium, not a relative or close friend, just someone I knew. It was all very sad as she was not very old. After briefly attending the wake we went into Saffron Walden for lunch where today’s picture was taken. As you can see I had a crab salad with new potatoes; it was excellent.

The temperature today at noon today was twenty degrees Celsius; there were a few spots of rain first thing and then wall-to-wall sunshine for the rest of the day. Apparently there was heavy rain during the night, but I did not hear it.
